The mission of Peer Support & Advocacy Network is to build a community, free of stigma, where individuals with mental illness work together toward recovery of mind, body and spirit. Our Vision--All people with mental illness will live and participate fully as valued members of the community with the dignity, respect, and opportunities that should be afforded all citizens. The Peer Support & Advocacy Network (PSAN) is a 100% (behavioral health) consumer-operated, non-profit, holistic, and multicultural agency. Our goal is to assist consumers to empower themselves through voluntary, strengths-based, choice-driven programming, advocacy, information and referral, access to community resources, and informal activities. Respect, empathy, and encouragement are our guiding principles. We fundamentally believe that as consumers of behavioral health services, we must assume responsibility for our own wellness.
