About the Role
The Kitchen Support at the New Horizons Drop-In Center is responsible for the day-to-day kitchen operations. Meals are prepared off site and may need to be supplemented.
This person helps to provide a safe, clean and supportive environment to facilitate peer interaction and support.
The Kitchen Support assists the Center Coordinator in assuring the center’s compliance with all applicable rules and regulations including safety, especially as it pertains to food preparation and maintaining the kitchen. In addition, this position is responsible for inventory control.

Requirements
High School Diploma, GED Equivalent,
Culinary Education or a combination of education and experience, which uniquely qualifies an individual for the position.
Individual also needs to be a prior or current consumer of mental health services.
